The 1966 Formula One season was the 20th season of FIA Formula One motor racing. It featured the 1966 World Championship of Drivers and the 1966 International Cup for Formula One Manufacturers. The season was contested over nine races, and Jack Brabham won his third and final World Championship, driving for his own Brabham team using Repco engines, marking the first time a driver won the championship in a car bearing his own name. It was also the first year of the new 3-litre engine regulations.
