The 1953 Formula 1 season was the seventh season of FIA Formula One motor racing. It featured the 1953 World Championship of Drivers, which commenced on 18 January and ended on 13 September after nine races. Alberto Ascari and Scuderia Ferrari dominated the season, with Ascari winning his second consecutive World Championship.
